This horizons program examines the effects of one of the largest forced removals in North American history: U.S. public law 93-531, which forced more than 8000 Navajos, and 100 Hopis to leave their land in North Eastern Arizona. The documentary examines cultural and emotional ties to the land. And the impact on the people who have already left the land, and those still on the land. The relocation is to be completed by July 1986. Produced by Sandy Tolan.
